Good freight starts with a good handoff.
Meridian is a fictional enterprise built around a practical idea: make the next person’s work clearer.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE HANDOFF
Clarity is a shared responsibility.
Every review, observation and customer update belongs to the same accountable journey.
PEOPLE + PROCESS + PROOFResponsibility stays
Responsibility stays
with the record.
Customers see their freight and approved updates. Dispatchers coordinate the plan and the daily exceptions. Managers approve awards, review outcomes and control access. Finance closes the journey with delivery evidence.
The modeled organization has eight terminals and 600 staffed roles. Those are fictional operating assumptions, not measured capacity or a claim about a real carrier.
The standards we model
- A named decision. Award and deadline changes carry an actor, timestamp and reason.
- An honest observation. Saved event times are visible. The network diagram is illustrative, never live GPS.
- A deliberate message. Draft updates wait for human review before portal publication.
- A recoverable handoff. Conflicting changes ask for a reload, and saved task history keeps the context.
